The Futures Fair feature industry-specific workshops to spark an interest in science, technology, math and engineering while connecting local youth and job seekers with the resources, relationships, and confidence needed to get a job and pursue a career in the booming industries of the Bay Area.The identity was created with custom typography. Built from simple shapes to give a construction feel to it, connecting with the ‘build yourself’ ethos of the fair. The illustrations were created to be cohesive with the identity, and served to create a visual for a first time event that had no prior event photography. The branding was very successful with both the organizers and fair goers, with plans to continue expanding and implementing the branding in subsequent Futures Fairs.
